Before we give the 2024 fishing report we want to thank all our Flyfishmex friends and guest who joined us at Suenos and Mag Bay. Also, big thanks to our hardworking, skilled and dedicated captains who prove every day that they are the best.
The spring season of 2024 was another banner year; highlighted by surprise schools of Sailfish and also some incredible beach action for Roosterfish. Our expanded offshore program had some electrifying days with Marlin and BIG Dorado which were feeding on smaller Yellowfin Tuna and Skip Jack out at the buoys.
The inshore Roosterfish game was on as well; with good supplies of Sardines to keep the action going on big Roosterfish and Jack Crevalle.
On the beaches, we had consistent opportunities with medium to Grande size Roosterfish. We had some exhilarating close calls, and a few fish were landed.
Mag Bay continues to deliver with new fishing opportunities and the best site casting to marlin in the world. Last season most guest landed marlin and the Dorado were almost too much at times. Roosterfish cruising the beaches and the bay made for some awesome inshore action.
