Mag Bay is a trip for the adventurous  and has some of the most exciting fly fishing on the planet. You know when you are catching roosterfish from the beach as a back up plan, you are in an amazing place. Marlin are definitely the main show in Mag Bay but there are so many more fish to chase. It is not unheard of to catch marlin , dorado, roosterfish and halibut in the same day, and still have time to suck down some fresh oysters.J

Mag Bay has a short window when the conditions are good and the fishing epic. We have some availability still open during this time, come join the fun.

The September/October fishing season is a spectacular time to visit the East Cape. There are plenty of roosterfish around cruising the coastline and great chances at dorado, striped marlin, blue marlin, and yellowfin tuna on the fly. The weather is more mild following the August rains and the otherwise dry-brown landscape comes to life the desert vegetation blossom.

Join us on Baja Mexico's East Cape to fly fish for roosterfish, dorado, billfish, tuna and a variety of other species while staying in luxurious private villas tucked away on a hidden bay with white sand beach.

Over the past few seasons we've seen some incredible fishing for roosterfish, a resurgence of yellowfin tuna populations, and larger size dorado. With little to no fishing pressure for nearly a year and healthy schools of bait lining the beaches we anticipate great fishing conditions in Baja for the 2021 season. Fair weather and great fishing is what Baja is all about. May and June are easy living, with calm seas and excellent inshore fishing. Last season we had 20-40 lb dorado close enough to cast to from shore, competing with the roosterfish. Even in July, when temperatures climb to 100 degrees, the fishing can be lights out offshore for billfish and big bull dorado, and inshore for roosterfish from the boat or, if you are up for a challenge, from the beach. We still have some prime slots available May- July, let us know if you are interested in booking a trip.

We are currently taking reservations for seven (7) night / six (6) fishing day and six (6) night /five (5) fishing day packages for our Spring (April-July) and Fall (Sept-Nov) 2024 fishing seasons. Packages start and/or end on Saturdays for the weeks listed below.
